What we do

One-to-one tuition is our core business. We provide exceptional private one-to-one tuition to students of all ages, predominantly in their own homes.

We cover all primary and secondary education subjects for every age, including adult learners. We can help learners who need additional support with their studies, or those who require greater challenges in order to push ahead. We can also provide tuition for those who simply want to improve or refine their skills in a particular subject area.

We get to know all of our tutors personally, so we can provide the most suitable tutor for every student’s needs.

We also offer a variety of workshops and revision weeks for our students. Workshops and revision weeks typically have a specific focus, covering everything from entrance exam tuition and revision techniques to primary level maths and English or specific subjects at GCSE and A-level.

Specialist tuition is also available – we work with other agencies, such as schools and Premier League football clubs, providing bespoke tuition for individuals or groups with unique requirements.

Our specialist tutors are fully trained in helping students with dyslexia, autism or other specific needs.

Investment

The initial franchise fee for a Choice Home Tutoring franchise business is £17,500 + VAT. For that investment, you’ll receive a turnkey package to get your business up and running straight away. This includes comprehensive induction training covering all aspects of operating a Choice Home Tutoring franchise business, including:

• Recruiting tutors
• Using our bespoke CRM system designed specifically for the tutoring sector
• Handling tutor timesheets and payments
• Managing customers
• Marketing and customer retention

Training and support

Initial training takes place over several days at our head office. Familiarisation with Choice Home Tutoring day-to-day operations and systems will include comprehensive software training. You will sit in on tutor interviews and have plenty of opportunity to experience how we liaise with customers. Excellent customer service is crucial to growing the reputation of your business.

As a franchisee, you can be assured that we will be with you every step of the way – from the initial stages of training to providing continual support as your business grows.

We will offer advice and guidance to ensure you feel confident and can hit the ground running with your new business.

After the initial settling in phase, you will meet with the Choice Home Tutoring management team at least four times per year. This will include a day on business planning, at least one group meeting per year with other franchisees, and at least two days of hands-on support in your territory.

In addition you will receive up to 10 days support during your first year of operation. This will include advice on the effective use of social media, as well as ways to promote the business through local advertising and sponsorship.

Further structured ongoing training will be delivered on a quarterly basis. Ad-hoc support is available to franchisees as required.
